Veronica Wood

Group and Intake Assistant

Veronica (She/Her) is an Intake and Group Assistant at the Ontario DBT Centre. Alongside the Intake Coordinator, Veronica is often one of the first points of contact for clients, supporting the intake process, assisting with DBT Skills Groups, and helping create a welcoming and supportive experience for clients. Veronica looks forward to connecting with clients, supporting the team, and contributing to a warm and inclusive clinic environment.Veronica joined the Ontario DBT Centre with a background in psychology, research, and administrative coordination. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Distinction from the University of Guelph-Humber and is currently pursuing a Master's in Clinical Psychology at Adler Graduate Professional School.

Veronica is passionate about advocating for neurodivergent communities and promoting greater understanding, inclusion, and accessibility. Outside of her work and studies, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors and being active, and cooking and baking. She is excited to continue learning and growing as she works toward a career in clinical psychology and looks forward to supporting clients throughout their journey.
